Dr Greenberg came highly recommended to me from my boss and I’ve had such an amazing experience. I couldn’t believe how fast he extracted my tooth it was pain free and quick I’m day 3 and back to eating normally with no pain or swelling

Awful experience — completely unprofessional. Please avoid this doctor. They tried to rip me off for $730 after telling me twice that my insurance would cover everything. I went to Dr. Greenberg’s office for a Mandibular Advancement Device, paid a “deposit” they promised to reimburse, and three weeks later they refused to return it. They suddenly claimed the insurance would only pay $120 and that the device cost $3,000 — which I highly doubt, since I confirmed with my insurance both before and after the visit that it was fully covered. This is an in‑network provider, so there was no excuse for this. They wasted my time, broke their word, and played with my health when I urgently needed this treatment after months of poor sleep with the CPAP. I walked out and found another doctor. Avoid this practice.

I ate a frito lays corn chip and immediately my mouth swelled up. My mouth was in pain so I went to my primary dentist, Dr. Adam Nusblatt. Dr. Nusblatt was on vacation, so the dental hygienist, Sidney took a picture of my tooth and sent it Dr. Nusblatt. After seeing the xray, he referred me to Dr. Alex Greenberg, located at 18 East 48th Street. I trust my dentist and his staff so I went to Dr. Green berg for a consultation. I met a beautiful blonde woman at the front desk, named Tina. Tina had me fill out insurance papers and then proceeded to tell me how great, Dr. Greenberg is- but I didn’t believe her, I was new- that was her boss!Anyway, after meeting him, he had a nice bedside manner and scheduled me today- March 13 to take out my tooth. I couldn’t sleep all night, woke up had my nails and feet done at nine, because of if I was going to be in pain my nails and feet were going to look good 😂😂 I arrived 15 mins early and Tina started talking to me telling not to be nervous, Dr. Greenberg was an excellent dentist. Finally I got called in, Dr. Greenberg came in focused and tried to make me laugh by saying TGIF. I told him I was anxious and nervous but he didn’t respond. He proceeded to administer the numbing medication and left me alone for it to settle into my gums. When he returned he was ready to pull my tooth, by this time I was slightly relaxed. He came in with two assistants who were gentle with me, he told me if I felt pain to alert him and I felt a little pain. Dr. Greenberg numbed me again, he then went into my mouth and asked if that felt better, I responded he did, two seconds later he said all done! What?! Shut the front door!! Amazing! He told me what to do and to avoid hot drinks and food. As patients we all hate to go to the dentist but Dr. Greenberg is outstanding and Tina is kind, respectful and very sweet!! If I was a billionaire I would send him and Tina a gift! Magnificent dental team!!!1000 stars!!

Unprofessional office, Dr Greenberg has no desire to help his patients and his office does not care to follow up with patients, will only follow up with patients to send them a huge bill afterwards for the inadequate service.

Avoid this doctor at all costs! Horrible experience. On my first visit, he looked at my X-ray for less than a minute and said he didn’t have enough information to remove my wisdom tooth. He tried to pressure me into getting another X-ray for cash in his office, even though I had already brought my own X-ray. When I refused, he refused to perform the procedure. A few days later, I received a $450 bill for a service that never happened. The same day I went home, I sent their office another 360-degree X-ray and called to confirm whether this was enough for the extraction to be covered by my insurance so that I wouldn’t have to pay anything extra. The person on the reception assured me that is enough. On the day of my appointment, I had to wait over 30 minutes. The doctor and one of the assistants were rude and showed no empathy. In the end, the office sent me another bill for the exact same nonexistent service — again for $450. I have filed a fraud claim with my insurance company. This place is an absolute scam — stay far away from this office.
