  Entire visit was excellent, from check with the receptionists to meeting with my provider for new hearing aids.

  This office is mismanaged and disorganized. In January we called to make an appointment for my son, we waited almost 3 months for our appointment only to be cancelled on a few days before. After explaining *in detail* my sons issues, age, previous diagnoses, etc, I was booked with a doctor who did not see children under 3. We were not made aware of this until they called to cancel on us, 2 business days before our appointment, with no attempt to reschedule or re-accommodate us, regardless that it was the Office's mistake in the first place. I was told a manager "David" would call me back to reschedule us, and I never heard from them. Upon my follow-up, a day before our original appointment, I again was told they would "try to give us a call" but "could not guarantee" a call back, and we were basically out of luck and they would not accommodate us. I cannot even begin to explain how much we were looking forward to this appointment to try and get some answers for our sons chronic ear infection condition. So after waiting three months, our son continuing to have ear infections, and myself already taking PTO, this office took it upon themselves to screw us over. Meaning, you cancelled on us for a mistake YOUR OFFICE made and made NO ATTEMPTS to re-accommodate us to the schedule. Shame on this office and practice, I hope you are aware how your mistakes effect the lives of families & this one keeps you up at night.

  The staff lack basic empathy. I understand everyone wants to do their job and go home but sometimes it’s nice to try and go the extra mile when the appointment is for a child. Will now be waiting another 2 months for a appointment l.

  Had my newborn daughters hearing test here (she originally failed screening test in just one ear when she was born which we were told might be due to fluid in her ear). This place claimed she had hearing loss in both ears. We had to go to ENT, extra visit to pediatrician and then ended up going to Stony Brook hearing department to repeat the same exact tests which turned out that to my daughter actually doesn’t have a hearing loss, and it was just fluid in her ONE ear. And now they send me a bill for $400. Never will I go to this place again. Recommend do your research and go to a private office because these hospitals (especially this one) will rip you off and theres “nothing they can do for you except put you on their payment plan”. Now because of their unprofessionalism, Im going to get another such bill from stony brook (whom I should’ve seen in the first place).
