My wife and I had to go into the ER for her back and while waiting for medication the staff couldn’t care less that she was in serve pain crying in tears when I asked the nurse what the problem was he said the machine was broken…. I don’t understand what that meant. Honestly this hospital needs to teach their staff hospitality.

I had my baby at NWH 2.5 weeks ago, and as a first time mom, I felt SO supported and cared for during my stay. The nurses were attentive but also personable, feeling more like helpful friends by the end of our stay. They were so kind and willing to help me with all of my questions no matter how silly or small. We returned to the hospital today for a lactation consultation and I left feeling refreshed, reassured, and wayyyy more optimistic about our breastfeeding journey. 5 stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough. The transition into motherhood for a first timer is so jarring, isolating, and overwhelming, but having a team like the staff at NWH made it easier. I wish for every new parent to have an experience like I had here.
I havnt been to the hospital since giving birth to my three kids at different hospital NWH was great with me . Nurses and NP were great, Dr was ok didn’t look at my chart before she came in so she wasn’t 💯 on board with me but still didn’t matter the NP and nurse took care of me and the Xray department was good to. Transporter was sweet. With my 3 kids and many visits to NWH ED I have nothing to complain about.

DO NOT DELIVER HERE!
If you are planning on a delivery here, please go elsewhere for your own safety and sanity!
Doctors aren’t great and are clearly uncomfortable.
Nurses are just agents of the hospital and ignore patients.
Staff can’t handle pressure, I had to not only calm my wife, but help calm staff as well.
