  I will try to be as nice as possible since this comment will stay online forever. Northwell Westchester treated me in Jan 2024 - as best as they could. They discharged me and that was that. I was left with a $2,000 bill. Thats where my complaint begins. It took me a few months to pay off more than half of that. I unfortunately have a low paying job like a good amount of late 20-year-olds have. Here's the kicker: a rep and an internal financial counselor said I WAS eligible for financial assistance/ hardship. They made me fill in an application. They also said they would flag my balance to make sure Northwell doesn't send it to collection. I called back since I haven't heard or received an email about the status of my application. A rep and that same financial counselor said they changed their requirements for financial hardships/ assistance. To even be considered for assistance, you would have to provide previous payment of $4,000 to Northwell. I just laughed at that point during the callback. Today, it's in collections. Arstrat - a debt collector that doesn't answer their phones at all. Its looking like a bad mark on my clean credit report/ score. So, this review goes out to the Northwell Westchester billing department and to the team of financial counselors: Thank you for misleading me and pushing me aside when I said I can pay my balance off during our 2nd call. If you are reading this just know you are part of the (not the whole) reason why this society is closer to hell than it is to heaven.

  I took my resident here on an appointment && the people at the front desk were very rude. My resident was unable to answer a few questions due to dementia (which was explained to them) & they were refusing to see her because of it. No person should be treated this way.
