I had my baby at NWH 2.5 weeks ago, and as a first time mom, I felt SO supported and cared for during my stay. The nurses were attentive but also personable, feeling more like helpful friends by the end of our stay. They were so kind and willing to help me with all of my questions no matter how silly or small. We returned to the hospital today for a lactation consultation and I left feeling refreshed, reassured, and wayyyy more optimistic about our breastfeeding journey. 5 stars honestly doesn’t feel like enough. The transition into motherhood for a first timer is so jarring, isolating, and overwhelming, but having a team like the staff at NWH made it easier. I wish for every new parent to have an experience like I had here.
I havnt been to the hospital since giving birth to my three kids at different hospitals. And NWH was great. Nurses snd NP were great, Dr was ok didn’t look at my chart before she came in so she wasn’t 💯 on board with me but still didn’t matter the test took care of me and the Xray department was good to. Transporter was sweet. With my 3 kids and many visits to the ED I have nothing to complain about.

DO NOT DELIVER HERE!
If you are planning on a delivery here, please go elsewhere for your own safety and sanity!
Doctors aren’t great and are clearly uncomfortable.
Nurses are just agents of the hospital and ignore patients.
Staff can’t handle pressure, I had to not only calm my wife, but help calm staff as well.
Whoever is answering the phones at this hospital would be better suited to work somewhere that doesn’t require minimal behavioral skills. Really outrageous behavior for someone working in the medical field handling patients. Northwell should train their staff more on what attitude is appropriate when dealing with the public. Politely asking a nurse a question about insurance should not warrant them to lose their temper and tell a patient to call the finance department before hanging up the phone. Very inappropriate
Seriously thought id get better service just want to tell the ER department you all suck
