- MCMichelle CastanonMar 20, 20255.0Since my daughter's illness this place has become like a second home. Everyone that works here cares about the kids. The child life team does a great job at distracting the children when needed and explaining things to them in an age appropriate manner. They even include the siblings because in truth, when one child is sick the whole family is affected. Having a child with a severe medical condition has been so hard but getting treatment at NYU Cancer center for kids has really helped us in so many ways to overcome the obstacles. The doctors and nurses are so very knowledgeable and answer all of my questions.
