  I couldn't believe, when arriving, the receptionist was on the phone with another patient, and I overheard her mention a Dr.'s name from Crystal Run and was curious as I thought he had retired long ago. I was a patient of this Dr. approx. 20 yrs. ago. When she opened the window, I asked her if she was indeed talking about this Dr. and she said "I was talking to another patient, not you." This lady was incredibly rude and I feel she is not fit to be working with the public. I am polite with everyone, especially in a Dr 's office. I didn't ask her name and it's not like me to write a bad review but there was no reason to treat a patient like she did. I went on to have my tests with 2 professional girls without a problem. I didn't push the issue while there but the more I thought about it, the more incensed I got. I would think her supervisor would have a talk with her to know what her problem was This was on Monday@1:15pm

  I see many people giving bad reviews and most of it relates to the horrible office staff. I completely agree. I have taken both of my parents to this office and it’s always overcrowded and wait times are unacceptably long. Today was a nightmare. I brought my 97 year old mother and they made us wait 2 1/2 hours! On top of that I stepped out into the hallway to take a call from a surgeon who was evaluating my father in the hospital. I was simply listening in as he explained my father’s condition. An evil witch from the office came down the hall pointing in my face and threatened to call the police because I was on my cellphone. I tried to explain that I am caring for both parents simultaneously and just needed to listen to the call. She should have apologized to my mother for keeping her there for 2 1/2 hours but instead she threatened me. My mother was so upset. Needless to say I will be taking my mother to a new ophthalmologist.

  This practice/this location overbooks appointments & the waiting room area is too small. Not a good COVID prevention environment.

  Can't give zero stars...arrived 12/1/21 at 2:30 for 2:45 appointment, completed paperwork. Fully aware of how Drs. visits work at 2:49 I ask the receptionist "can you give me an idea of my wait time" AGAIN fully aware of how visits/appointments work sometimes there is a wait. The receptionists' responding tone was quite rude "well your appointment was five minutes ago the people you see..." I cut her off "just want to get an idea of how long is the wait" again her tone was RUDE and unacceptable "well I don't know the next person that comes out..." The other people she attempted to tell me about were not spoken to in the tone she used with me. I asked for my intake paperwork back, as well as the copy of my insurance card. Got the paperwork and was advised there is no copy of insurance card it gets scanned into system. Here's the thing I do not appreciate the tone or the response I received from this woman. She was VERY CONDESCENDING and downright RUDE in her tone and response. I called 20minutes later to speak with billing I want to confirm my information has been deleted, of course I get the same woman on the phone who says "yes it's been deleted we wouldn't keep it". I do not believe her, and I will definitely follow-up with my carrier to ENSURE there is NOT ONE SINGLE PENNY being charged from this practice. I will be calling again to speak with the office manager which will more than likely be a waste of time *shrugs shoulders*
