My experience at LensCrafters was very excellent. I highly recommend anyone to go there. Dr Deborah Goodman O.D. was very informative and took her time explaining everything to me. She answered all of my concerns not leaving me with any doubts. Staff were very helpful and kind in helping me pick out lenses not rushing and attentive to my concerns. Thank you so much.

Absolutely worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. I called about getting my son's glasses fixed. They needed to be rewired . Lady on the phone was nice and said she could do it. I was so thankful because my son's special needs. She said they were closing but I could come in the next morning. I did and she wasnt in apparently. The lady working there at that time was extremely rude. She kept saying they couldnt fix them, then it was up to their discretion and that I needed to understand that person I spoke with on the phone wasnt in . I told her we had discussed everything and that I could come in in the morning. She just continued being rude to me , talking down to me , saying that " i needed to understand " with a sarcastic snotty attitude. I drove from 40 minutes away to have this done . I did ask all the questions to ensure I didnt have a wasted trip on a wild goose hunt trying to get them fixed and the staff working there were extremely unprofessional! Basically telling me the opposite of everything I was told over the phone by the only nice worker I had spoken to at this store . Mind you , she was raising her voice with a snotty ,sarcastic attitude and obviously didnt care at all about treating a customer with respect at all . I wish I had her reactions to my responses on video . I'd send it everywhere on an example of what not to be like while dealing with customers in the workplace. Terrible . Ill never go there again at any location. Im waiting right now at Cohens optical were I walked right in , she took the glasses no problem, were nice people and im sitting with my boys waiting for them to be fixed as im writhing this review. Beware customers ! Do not go to lenscrafters in the gallaria mall if that lady that's so full of herself sitting at that first desk as you walk in . I cannot stress this enough. Sad ,sad, people there!

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
