  This was my second time having my mom at Surge rehab. They were amazing with her Care. All the nursing staff and Aides were wonderful and very attentive. Bridget the nurse always went above and beyond to help me with my Mom. Griselle the social worker always helped us and went out of her way to make everything go smoothly. The PT and OT staff was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this rehab.

  When I first came in I couldn't even take one-step in the first week I was walking about 100 ft there And back Kylie was great and Terry. I thankfully walk better and have my independence . The nurses were great and provided great care . The social worker griselle was very good to me she advocated for me, communicative and professional and overall very kind to me . I'm excited to continue my journey in the community.

  Each time I have gone to visit my Auntie Jo the staff has just simply been incredible. They treat her with respect, kindness and they all truly care about her well being. So grateful to you all. Thank you ❤️🙏

  My dad was at Surge Rehabilitation and Nursing for quite a while, and overall he had a very positive experience — especially with the rehabilitation team. He truly loved the rehab part of his stay and spoke very highly of the therapists. They were patient, encouraging, and genuinely seemed to care about his progress. As a family, that meant a lot to us. The staff was consistently kind and sweet. Even during moments when emotions were high (which can happen when a loved one is in rehab), they always kept their composure. No one was ever disrespectful or spoke badly, even if we were upset. That level of professionalism and patience does not go unnoticed. As a family member, I do feel that communication and organization could sometimes be improved. There were moments where clearer updates would have helped ease some stress. That being said, I truly want to recognize Grisel Garcia, the social worker, who went above and beyond. Grisel was exceptional. She was on top of everything, very organized, and communicated clearly and consistently. Even when I called and she sounded like she wasn’t feeling her best, she still took the time to answer my questions and make sure I understood what was going on. She was compassionate, understanding, easy to talk to, and always kept in contact with me. She made what could have been an overwhelming situation feel much more manageable. Grisel Garcia is truly an asset to this facility, and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves for the care and dedication she shows to families. Overall, we are grateful for the kindness shown to my dad during his time there and especially thankful for the rehab team and Grisel’s incredible support.
