  Our dad was well cared for by his two Home Instead caregivers for several years. He loved Charmaine and Maureen and they loved him.

  Home Instead provided live in care for both my parents. My mother had alzheimer's. My father had dementia. The aide was caring, attentive and professional. The office staff was always easily accessible and very responsive. We highly recommend Home Instead.

  My mother had over six years of incredible, caring, knowledgeable, and professional services from Home Instead! Each aide, nurse and staff member was truly a blessing for my mother’s care. We were very fortunate in selecting Home Instead over six years ago. They started out assisting my mother a few days a week. Overtime, the number of hours and days increased. Home Instead was always able to provide qualified staff to meet my mother’s needs. Eventually, Home Instead provided 24 hour care around the clock for my mother as her health started to decline. My mother sadly passed away. The Home Instead staff and aides reached out to me several times since she died. If you are looking for quality care for yourself or a loved one, you will be much more than satisfied if you select Home Instead! I wish I could give them more than five stars!

  Home Instead in Merrick, Long Island has been providing full time home health care for my elderly parents for the past 5 months. Having used other agencies, I can say without a doubt that the caliber of the HHAs, PCAs and CNAs at HomeInstead in Merrick, NY is truly a cut above the rest. All are supervised and trained by a nurse, Pascale, who is also available to provide consultations on patient care and has shared valuable insights regarding our parents health. In addition, Home Instead has sent Pascale to my parents home to orient new aids regarding my parents care plan. This is something that I have not seen at other agencies. The office staff are all kind, competent, helpful and a pleasure to work with. They seem to communicate well with each other and are familiar with their clients needs. Heena, the person in charge of staffing, does an amazing job of matching care givers with patients and goes above and beyond the call of duty. She really tries her best to find the best caregiver for each particular situation and when things do not work out, she works hard to solve the problem or if needed, to find a more suitable replacement. We are currently in the middle of dealing with a medical crisis and while on “vacation,” Heena has been working nonstop trying to provide us with the coverage that we need. I cannot thank her enough. Pam has been lovely to work with and has been extremely helpful in getting third-party reimbursement for our parents home health care. I have also had extensive interactions with Mark and Nicole, the owners of this agency. They are incredibly responsive and worked day and night to find coverage for my parents in an incredibly stressful emergency situation.They are responsible, caring and practical in their approach to Home Health Care. This agency is more expensive than many and we are fortunate that we are able to use them.
