  I have been going to Pearle Vision for many many years. I will never set foot in another Pearle ever again. Their work is sloppy and my glasses never come out correct. This review is especially for the EXTREMELY rude old man who “helps” people pick out glasses in there. I brought my glasses in to have the lenses replaced bc the coating was coming off less than a year after getting them. I easily pay $400+ for progressive lenses and have been giving Pearle my money for far too long. Last Saturday was the icing on the cake. Every time I go in this location and he’s there, he’s always very bothered, has a poor attitude and is just plain RUDE every single time. There was another woman working at the other desk last weekend as well and neither of them acknowledged that I walked into the store. I kind of just stood there with my glasses in hand waiting for someone to say CAN I HELP YOU? The man takes my glasses to cut the lenses and tells me to come back in an hour. Well guess what? No pupil distance was taken and I can’t see as well as I did with the prior lenses. How is that even possible???? I am confident this location will not last another 5 years treating people like garbage and not caring about their quality of work!!!

  I arrived 3 minutes late to my appointment at 5:30. There was not a single other customer waiting and the location is open until 7. I walked in joking and apologizing to the woman sitting in the front as my car lights are bright and went into her eyes when I pulled into the spot. I had barely finished my sentence before the doctor stormed out from the back and brashly and loudly asked from across the store "what are you here for?" I responded that I was there for an eye exam at 5:30. He then in the same impolite tone with his hands in the air waving me to the back said "let's go, let's go, you're late!" While I understand that it was inconvenient that I was 3 minutes late, I found it quite inappropriate for him to become so emotional and angry for such a small infraction. If he had greeted me or given me one moment to speak, I would have apologized for being late. I am not going to allow an agitated man to get as close to me as necessary to perform an eye exam so I left. This whole encounter was extremely unnecessary and disappointing.
