- KMKristen McGaughey2 days ago5.0My grandmother has been here for a week and so far it’s been great! They have a little café in the lobby with a few drinks and lots of pastries. All complementary for the patients! It’s a nice touch for the patients and as a bonus, it makes the halls smell like fresh baked cookies. The building is not super modern but seems clean and well taken care of. My grandmother said the staff is caring and respectful. When visitors enter they sign-in with a machine that takes their picture and temperature. You need to press a button to exit. I think these are both great safety features. There’s a decent size parking lot next to the building, street parking, and a pay-to-park town lot across Atlantic Avenue. The street that the entrance is on, is one way for a few hours on Sundays. There’s also an LIRR train stop (Centre Avenue stop) about a block away.
