I seriously don’t understand all these negative reviews. Went today for the first time and it was a great experience. Staff was lovely and pleasant and I was in and out in an hour.

DENIED TREATMENT I went for right ear pain on 10/7 and was refused treatment. I have CDPHP high deductible and they demanding payment before being seen. I was never given a dollar amount just i needed to pay. I refused. Per CDPHP have to bill the insurance then send claim to 2nd insurance company. The never asked about 2nd insurance just wanted money. I said no and they told i would not been seen. This is illegal. All Albany Medical Center cares about is MONEY NOT THE PATIENT. I would give them zero stars but can not. Albany Med keeps removing my comment about refusing care.

I love that you guys gave this place one star because when i go later today it will be empty, but I felt badly that no one is standing up for this place.
I’m not sure what all of these people experienced, but my family has been there at least 6 times and all of them have been a positive experience. You go to Urgent Care for minor issues, not real medical issues.
Although, I was concerned when we showed up for my son who had a deep punctured wound in his foot, from a belt buckle. They checked him out, cleaned it up, told me what to do and it healed beautifully.
My husband and other son has been there and we’ve had no issues. If you have concerns you should follow up with your PCP. Although, from the sound of things most of you don’t have one. (No disrespect)
Anytime you go to ANY Urgent Care they expect payment right then. If you don’t have the copay you shouldn’t be at Urgent Care.
My husband thought he was having a heart attack they did the EKG and he wasn’t! He followed up with our doctor the next day and he ended up being fine. We went there again for a really bad case of hiccups and they prescribed a quick dose of a medicine that ended up working to get rid of them. It hasn’t happened since.
Also, I have never waited longer than 15 minutes to be seen. I hate even writing that because now people will know my go to spot!
