  Had an eye emergency and they gave me an appointment right away. All staff from front desk to exam room and doctor were very courteous and I trusted their knowledge and care.

  I had an issue with my eye. My usual doctor was out of town. Community Eye Care were able to fit me in the same day. Great staff. So polite and professional.

  I'll start this by saying Dr. Froebel and the surgery center in Warren are awesome, so not sure what is so wrong with this location. Ibwould give this location ZERO STARS if I could. They NEVER return calls and I always get surprise bills months later. After two weeks of calls to get a $ amount I would need to pay out of pocket for my cataract surgeries I was told $60 Copay for each, which I paid. Then weeks later got a bill for almost $900. Now months later I got another bill for an additional $400. My last exam was a joke. Discussed transition multi-focal lenses which I have already and hate. The Dr. suggested Tri-focals instead. I no longer have insurance now and went to the optical center after the exam, the most affordable pair was over $300. I went to Walmart for cheaper glasses and my prescription from here didn't include computer or reading Rx. Called Community Eyecare and they claimed I never asked for it, just distance. How were they going to sell me Tri-focals without it? They "would be happy to give me another exam for almost $200". Ridiculous! I have said before that I'd never go there again, now I definitely won't!

  I would highly recommend that you go somewhere else. My wife had cataract surgery there. She got the most expensive lens and had to go back for laser surgery to clear up her vision. We have eye insurance, but between the lenses and the copays 350 x 4, and the numerous visits 35 each, I have spent over 7300.00 and her eyes still are not right. Go to Erie or Buffalo. Never again. By the way, they use a third party billing, and it sucks !!
