  Home Instead has been wonderful helping me care for my Mom with dementia. The staff if always helpful and caring. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for home care. My two aids were absolutely wonderful!!

  My experience with HomeInstead was very positive. The staff were helpful and compassionate. More importantly they listened and understood my needs. They arranged for a caregiver who was exactly what we were looking for. Save for financial reasons, I would have continued with their service. Would recommend them without reservation. Ife Ojugbeli

  I had very good experience with Home Instead starting with Ben who set up the visits and provided a caretaker who was young engaging and open to any request. I heartedly recommend this organization.

  Home Instead of Ithaca, NY, has helped tremendously in providing companion care for my elderly parent over a two and a half year period. The management worked hard to meet our needs flexibly and provided some superstar caregivers. They came through during the worst of the COVID pandemic. My heartfelt thanks to Ben and his team.

  My husband, Jerry had been declining in health with late stage Alzheimer's for years. My son and I, had been able to take care of him until June 2020 when he hit his head in a fall and had to be hospitalized for a week. We needed help, Jerry really couldn't be left alone for safety reasons anymore.. Tompkins County Office of the Aging pointed me in the direction of Home Instead Senior Care a local business owned by Ben Adams in Ithaca. I had never had anyone in my house taking care of Jerry and wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when Jennifer, the office coordinator assured me that they would take good care of Jerry and had a great staff of aides that have worked with Alzheimer's patients before. Alex, our aide was wonderful and brought cards to play with Jerry which he enjoyed very much. Sometimes the family is exhausted from doing all the daily cooking, cleaning and watching of their loved one, they have no time for fun and games. Christine, an aide brought checkers and took him for ice cream which was a blessing because we had no energy left to do extra entertainment. I would highly recommend Home Instead Senior Care because we are all under a lot of stress, and caring for a loved one increases that need for extra help. Home Instead took the burden off my son and I so we could leave Jerry with someone we trusted and go get groceries, or to a doctor's appointment or just have some time to ourselves to recharge.
