  I was initially impressed with the competency of this practice and front desk. That changed dramatically when I returned for physical exam. As I had recently been in the hospital I brought appropriate records with me including a complete cardiac work up. I signed a waiver for EKG, eye test and hearing test. I see an ophthalmologist yearly and an eye exam given to grade school children from a chart hung at the end of the corridor was inappropriate for someone my age the hearing test was also waived as if I was having a problem I’d seek an appointment with an ENT. When claims were submitted I discovered an EKG was billed for and paid and my copay was increased accordingly. I contacted the office and advised the office manager that they made an “error” in their billing and a corrected claim needed to be submitted. It never was, instead a refund for insurance payment and additional copay was sent to me. After that every contact with the office, rx refills etc were adversarial.
