  How anyone can complain about this location is beyond my comprehension. I arrived an hour early, checked in via their simple sign-in ‘computer,’ and was sent a text message a half hour later (30 minutes before my scheduled appointment). The person who took care of me was pleasant, professional, and got the job done in ten minutes. I was actually back in my car before my appointment time. Excellent, clean, well-run location. ♿️

  The convenience of having a Quest Diagnostics location close to home is appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience this morning was very disappointing. The phlebotomist who assisted my mother was dismissive, impatient, and came across as unprofessional. Patients coming in for lab work, especially older patients, may already feel anxious. A calm and respectful demeanor makes a significant difference, and that was lacking during our visit. Technical ability is only part of the job. Professionalism and basic courtesy are equally important in healthcare settings. Due to this experience, we will be choosing a different location moving forward. I hope management takes patient feedback seriously and addresses the level of care provided at this site.

  Today was my first time at the Howard beach location. Checked in with my phone I called in pretty quickly. I had the pleasure to meet Alexis who drew my blood. I have to say she is amazing. I didn’t feel the needle, my vein did not want to cooperate but she was very patient and managed to get the blood that was needed. I expressed how amazing she was because out all of my years I’ve never had such an amazing experience. I am hard to stick I’m always getting sticked at least twice and it’s painful. But once again Alexis you were amazing 🙌 thank you.
