  takes too long to get an appointment, too long to have an MRI and then the needed surgery. took 10 days for an appointment, 2 weeks for an MRI and a month for the surgery

  Dr. Nasar has a terrible "bedside manner". Was condescending and quick. Didn't want to give explanations just immediately said "you need surgery for carpel tunnel". No X-rays to guarantee what was going on, no talk of therapy, didn't want to do a cortisone shot and no discussion of things to try before doing a surgery. When I declined surgery at this time he said "well I don't know what you want me to do". Never gave advise on alternative solutions. When I asked for a cortisone shot he brought another person in to show him how to do the shot and didn't really talk with me, just to the other man. I felt like a test dummy. Other man was more attentive and kind. The evening of the shot I had extreme pain and could not move my hand. I've had cortisone shots before and never experienced that. The extreme pain lasted for 2 1/2 days. I believe he hit a nerve. I will not see him again and if I do have to have surgery it will definitely not be with him. The nurses and reception staff were very nice. However, it is extremely difficult to call into the office. I let the phone ring for 15 minutes with no answer. Had to call the front again to see if they could get through. They literally got up and went back to find someone since they couldn't get ahold of someone either. That happened on two occasions. That is unacceptable. Get a dedicated person to answer the phone in that office. Even the main calling center said it's difficult to reach a live person in that office. This was a horrible experience.
