Had a wonderful experience at the Holbrook location! The store is beautiful and the entire staff is so friendly and professional. Cheyenne is an amazing associate, so helpful with the best energy!! Would 100% recommend anyone looking for an elevated eyewear experience to shop here!

Came last week with my family to get an eye exam and glasses. We were helped by Cheyenne who seemed extremely helpful in helping pick glasses which took a while but we were trying to ensure we got what is best for us. Thats when things went south, when it came to picking lenses she kept on choosing the most expensive lenses and even when asking her to price out better more budget lenses, the lenses werent making substantial price differences which didn’t make sense, anyway, went to check out and noted she had added the lens protection without consulting us which was really sneaky, I asked her to remove them and that she never consulted us on it, gave an attitude and removed protection. I then noticed (after I paid) she hadnt added a coupon I gave her, so I came back and asked her to remove which again was met unpleasantly. This experience has definitely steered me away from this Lenscrafters and any Lenscrafters for that matter (we are repeat customers of multiple years) as the whole process felt predatory in nature and rather disingenuous.

I purchased new eye glasses yesterday. The technician, Adrian, was very kind and helpful and efficient. Looking forward to getting my new glasses and hopefully sooner than later. I think the glasses look great. There was a very good selection of glasses at this location, Holbrook, NY, as well.

Sold me lenses that got hair line cracks due to the way they cut them which was apparently wrong and advertised high active transitions to work in the car as sunglasses which they don’t and now they want to hide behind their 30 day warranty policy when the cracks didn’t show up for weeks. Predatory business practices and they don’t want to stand by their product or take accountability for their poor craftsmanship.Take your money or insurance elsewhere or just buy cheap glasses online because it’s the same quality apparently.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
