Miracle-Ear Hicksville is the textbook definition of a dishonest, profit-driven operation that preys on vulnerable seniors. My mother, who originally purchased a top-tier hearing aid from them for $8,000, started experiencing hearing trouble again. We scheduled a visit on May 6th, expecting professionalism. Instead, what we got was a shameless sales pitch. The audiologist didn’t even bother to inspect the hearing aid, clean it, or check her ears. Not a single diagnostic step. Within minutes, she pushed a $6,200 “upgrade” and claimed Miracle-Ear no longer supports the software on her current device. This wasn’t care—it was a gaslighting, manipulative money grab. Luckily, we went to Costco for a second opinion. They cleaned the hearing aid and found it was completely clogged—the real issue. Even worse, there was significant earwax buildup impacting her hearing. Both problems were easily fixable, both completely ignored by Miracle-Ear in favor of padding their bottom line. Miracle-Ear Hicksville doesn’t provide care—they exploit trust. If you value honesty, ethics, or even basic competence, run the other way.

The testing was so informative that you come away with a full understanding of your particular issue. The technology is amazing and not the least invasive. And, the x-ray video was eye opening! Highly recommend this facility!
