I waited almost a year before writing this review so I could reflect on the experience more calmly. About a year ago, I had a CO₂ laser tonsil procedure at this office. My concerns relate mainly to hygiene during the procedure, pricing transparency, and the insurance process afterward. During the procedure, I was given a disposable cup to spit into. After I discarded it, I observed the doctor retrieve the same cup from the trash area, empty it, and hand it back to me to continue using. This made me uncomfortable both from a hygiene standpoint and in terms of the overall patient experience. There was also confusion about pricing. When I first called the office, I was told the procedure would be $2,000. After I came in for a consultation, the price was quoted as $3,000. When I asked about the difference, I was told the procedure “starts around $2,000 but is usually $3,000.” The insurance process was also difficult. The office said they could not submit a claim because there was no billing code, so I had to contact my insurance company myself to obtain one and submit the claim on my own. I eventually received about $1,200 in reimbursement in December — roughly 7–8 months after the procedure. I initially considered returning for a revision that was offered, but after reflecting on the overall experience, I decided not to proceed. This review reflects my personal experience so that other patients can make informed decisions.

My daughter had her first visit to Dr. Werber for her tonsils. She was nervous and anxious, but Dr. Werber was incredibly kind, caring, and explained everything in a clear and understandable manner. I highly recommend Dr. Werber to everyone.

I wanted to update my review. I had seen Dr. Werber a couple of months ago and he said straight out that I should get a hobby or a job because he felt this was all in my head. Well Dr. Werber - I have seen 2 ENTs since - who want me to go to an Oral Surgeon ASAP and feel I have cancer. So, thank you for dismissing me and making me CRY. You are horrible. To insinuate a patient is imagining things because you don't have the skills to find anything? Well - I might have cancer - well done. You are the worst, arrogant doctor I have ever come across. And if I do have cancer - please expect a lawsuit - because you examined me and found nothing. I have all your notes. Nice job! I just found your response. Nice of you to collaborate with the other ENTs - yes - I was upset - because you don't see anything -and you dismiss a patient and that's it. I have photos of what my mouth looks like now - photos of what you said look "fine" - I would love to share them. I have to go to an emergency clinic on Christmas Eve. I don't care how many years you have been practicing - and my biggest issue - telling me to get a job or a hobby - how do you distract yourself from excruciating pain. The Pathologists think DEFINATELY oral 7cancer. You should have looked a little harder, and the other should have well. I've read many stories of ENTs missing cancer - some people going to as many as 7. More compassion - I'm in excruciating pain, can't swallow, eat or sleep. You should have LISTENED. If it's cancer - all hell will be raised - mark my words. I already have a lawyer.

“We’re so grateful to have found such a skilled and compassionate ENT. Dr. Werber has cared for our entire family through routine appointments and more involved procedures, and we’ve always felt we were in excellent hands. Highly recommend.”
