  It’s really sad to be a sick patient with a new scary diagnosis and have to deal with insensitive office staff. By far the worst experience I’ve had. 2 patient access reps Nicole and Karla continuously cut me off and I couldn’t even get my question out without them trying to dismiss me. I had 2 medications that were known to possibly cause severe interaction. The pharmacy was unaware I was on both meds so it wasn’t flagged by them and I was concerned Dr. Schwartzman just prescribed a medication not knowing about the other medication. Dr.Schwartzman by the way literally told me not to write my points down in our visit which I needed because she was giving me info on meds. I usually write important things down from a doctor visit so I don’t forget. This bothered her and she asked me not to do it saying I would get a paper with everything she said. I never got that paper and had to call the pharmacy for the medication instructions. She also rushed me out, saying she “had to leave this room she had other patients” she did not answer my questions and was visibly frustrated by me asking questions even though this is a new diagnosis and some serious medications. I’m not sure why/how she has such great reviews. I would NOT GO BACK to this office. I called in a panic wanting to make sure she was aware and make sure the medication issue wasn’t overlooked, especially since she was in such a rush during our appointment. I wanted to know if I should continue both meds and what symptoms I should look out for since I was already feeling strange. I asked for a call from a doctor since this seemed to be possibly urgent. They said they couldn’t guarantee that and only a nurse could call within 48 hours. I expressed the urgency and they said to make a telehealth appointment. I said I just started the medication 3 days ago and feel it’s reasonable to at least get a call from the doctor since this is a new drug and I have such a concerning question, again I was told I may or may not get a call from the doctor that they couldn’t guarantee it. However this is serious and I needed to know ifI stops take the meds or not as either taking them or subtly stopping them would/could have serious side effects and is all new. I asked to speak with the office manager thinking for sure they would be better trained but she was worse. The office manager, Sarah is extremely rude. Its not good for business, especially a doctors office where people are ill, for someone with THAT kind of attitude to be a manager. They’re supposed to be able to solve problems and de-escalate at the very least. She was arrogant in the way she spoke, belittled me for asking questions and continued to cut me off before I could even explain anything (which explains why the others think that kind of service is acceptable). When I asked for her full name she refused to give it to me and said “I’m the only Sarah” I said “I understand but I’d just like to know the full name of the office manager. You’re the manager and they gave me your full name right before transferring me to you” She said “no” and actually hung up the phone on me. I couldn’t believe it. If she’s the manager- Who checks that behavior? Who holds her accountable? I’ll surely be finding out, that’s for sure. What reason would she have as a manager for not wanting to give her full name in a professional setting anyway? It was only after I mentioned that I’d be leaving feedback on the ‘after call surveys’ that she refused. I called back and found out her last name regardless. Her name is Sarah Marcus. That was just so unbelievably unprofessional. (I still never received the call by the way from the nurse NOR the doctor). The WHOLE experience from the office staff to the doctor was just awful. The whole office is just nasty with how they treat you. Feels like they’re just desensitized on autopilot and it’s just a job (that they clearly hate) and you’re not even a person on the other end of the phone. I’D STAY FAR WAY. It’s so sad that you can’t get good people who actually care anymore in these doctors offices.

  THIS PLACE IS DESPICABLE. MY WIFE HAS BEEN GOING THROUGH SOME TOUGH MEDICAL HEALTH ISSUES & THESE DRS ACT LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IS TO BLAME EVEN THOUGH BLOODWORK IS CLEARLY SHOWING WHATS GOING ON ... TRIED TO SHOVE MY WIFE OFF ONTO A NURSE PRACTIONER SAYING SHE PRACTICES LIKE A RHEUMATOLOGIST .. BUT SHE IS NOT & NOT ON THE LEVEL OF A RHEUMATOLOGIST. PERIOD. I HAVE EMAILED THE CHIEF OF THIS PRACTICE & PLANNING ON FILING SEVERAL COMPLAINTS UNTIL THEY CAN GIVE MY WIFE PROPER CARE. THEY DONT GIVE A FLYING FIG ABOUT ANYTHING GOING ON WITH MY WIFE. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE SENT MY WIFE FOR BLOODWORK SEVERAL TIMES. FOR THE SAME DAMN TESTS. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED & DEALT WITH LEGALLY.
