  Was never really impressed with the care my father received here. But when you really need help they are a definite NO SHOW. My father has no insulin, I have called 5 different pharmacies and at all of them it is not in stock. How is that possible?! An office who takes care of insulin dependent diabetics has nothing in stock either?! Not one provider would get on the phone to help. My father will be without insulin for 5 days!!! I have been trying for a week to get it and his own pharmacy kept telling me tomorrow, tomorrow and NOTHING!!!

  Can't make appointments at 430, even tho it's closes at 5pm. Rude staff.

  Dr. Korotkaya is an absolute gem. She was thorough, very approachable, addressed all my concerns, and returned my follow- up phone call in a very timely manner. Also Stacy at reception was great.

  I can’t ignore the disrespect from the front line call center. Called yesterday asking for an appointment with endocrinology. The associate was a woman with a mild to moderate Haitian or African accent and never told me her name.. she stated to me there are endocrinologists in New Hyde Park, but only one at this location and that it would be a seven month wait. I responded that may be too far off. She then abruptly hung up the phone. I was not asked if I would like assistance with reaching the other location, I was not asked if there was anything else I might need help with, I was not even given the courtesy of “have a nice day”. I once worked for Northwell back in the day and I can’t believe that the standards for assisting patients and clients are at the bottom of the barrel. And this seems to be more and more of the norm with Northwell outpatient sites. Northwell seriously needs to do so much better.
