  Extremely unprofessional and distressing experience. Staff at this office are often rude, dismissive, and impatient, especially at the front desk. Phone calls go unanswered, and when they are, patients are frequently placed on long holds or hung up on entirely. Nurses and doctors are passive aggressive. There is a clear lack of compassion, especially for patients who are unfamiliar with the healthcare system. Patients deserve dignity, transparency, and professionalism, not to be ignored, laughed at, or made to feel like an inconvenience. Would not recommend this location for anyone seeking respectful or trauma-informed care.

  If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Northwell Family Medicine at Glen Cove has been traumatic and deeply disappointing. As someone with severe anxiety and depression, I made it clear from the beginning that I needed patience and support. Instead, I was met with rudeness, mocking, and discrimination from front desk staff, especially Marianela and Kristin. I was repeatedly made to wait on hold for over 15 minutes, only to be hung up on intentionally. I have video recordings of these incidents. They laughed at me while I was on the phone, shared my personal information, and even made homophobic comments in Spanish while I was begging for help. When I asked to speak to my doctor or a supervisor, they refused to connect me and made me feel completely powerless. After being told I was suicidal, they continued mocking me. The staff are visibly impatient with non-English speakers, and less welcoming with me for speaking English as if doing so forced them to be polite because everyone could now understand them. To date, I’ve never been given clear information about my bloodwork, imaging, or the status of my health. Instead, I was told “take your insurance elsewhere” "we'll call you if something is wrong" and "your physical is over we don't need to see you til next year." yet I still have tests that need to be performed. This place should not be allowed to treat patients this way, especially those struggling with mental health. I’ve filed a formal complaint with Northwell, and I urge others who’ve been mistreated here to do the same.

  Dr. is fantastic. So smart. I'm lucky I found him. 1st visit he sent me for tess due to family history and they found something, really early because of his thoroughness. I am very lucky!!

  I left a voicemail trying to schedule for an appt and was pleasantly surprised to receive a call back within few hours from Nancy who was very pleasant and directed me to the location/facility that worked for me. It makes a world of difference to have someone treat you so nicely and warmly, even if it is over the phone, and I just want to say a big thank you to Nancy.
