Untrained staff, rude, no empathy towards kids and their parents. Cant believe this is NYU.

Avoid Tejwant Bindra at all costs if you have a child with disabilities. She shows zero empathy or understanding for families dealing with special needs. Our first appointment was canceled by her last munute in morning, and after begging repeatedly, she only agreed to a virtual one. For the second in-person visit, we commute 2 hours each way with our disabled child, called multiple times en route to warn we'd be 15 minutes late due to public transportation, and stressed how crucial it was for our kid to get evaluated for therapy and meds. But when we arrived, she flat-out refused to see us and told us to reschedule. It's clear she only cares about billing insurance, not actual patient care. Save yourself the hassle and heartbreak—find a compassionate neurologist elsewhere!

I called for an appointment for my child and a staff named Tamar was extremely rude, insensitive and nasty. Absolutely no front desk Etiquette. When I asked for a supervisor I was placed on hold and she never came back. I called back and suddenly there was a date before summer time for an appointment. I’ve been with NYU for a while but as of lately the front desk staff are extremely rude, nasty and dishonest. Please change this to 0 stars!

I have been going there since they opened up. Have never had a bad experience/situation. I have always found the doctors and staff to be respectful, helpful, and attentive. The only complaint I have is that patients are called/addressed by their first name.

My appt was at 10:30 and I was seen at my appt time. This was a beautiful experience. I will be transferring my entire family to this facility. Dr Carl was approachable and knowledgeable.
