- DSDarlene Van SickleDec 17, 20211.0This organization is very short staffed. They frequently phone to cancel at the last minute on the very day an aide is supposed to show up. Home Instead can almost never find a replacement for that day. This requires me to reschedule my appointments or cancel plans altogether. Some of these appointments are doctor appointments requiring 24 HR advance notice. Aides are frequently late and spend too much time on their phones.

While at home we had a lovely home instead visitor twice a week so I could get out to do necessary errands. Nora was so lovely, we have asked to make visits to my wife in the nursing home. I am grateful for the service ice home instead provided for us.
