The MOST INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I broke the Nose Pad off of my FAVORITE FENDI Sunglasses and asked if it could be repaired. I was offered assistance IMMEDIATELY upon walking in! They explained both pads had to be replaced and they took care of it RIGHT AWAY while I admired their Glasses Collections wonderfully displayed! VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF!! Thank You Ladies!!! I’ll definitely be back! HAPPY 2026!

I went to the LensCrafters on Austin St in Forest Hills Queens. The doctor gave me the space to ask questions, and she took the time to answer them. Bella helped me pick a frame and go through the purchase process. She helped me try on a few frames and was patient with me. She also remembered me from my last eye exam and purchase, which was 2 years ago. That is great customer service that made me feel seen and heard.

If you want an exceptional experience, you need to go to this LensCrafters store ! I went there to get an eye exam and new lenses. The prescription and lenses are so accurate that I can see better than ever ! Just as importantly, everyone is so nice and informative. I truly appreciate my experience and highly recommend LensCrafters in Forest Hills :) .

Be careful—this location is not what it used to be under its new managment. ______________________________________________________________ Edited Response to LensCrafters’ Reply — Care Form Submitted on Dec 1, Before My Original Review, Yet No Action Taken (Email Confirmation Below) It’s disappointing to see this response, which seems more like a public attempt to appear responsive than an actual follow-up. I submitted a care form before posting this review (reference number: 251201018383), yet I received no communication whatsoever or resolution from LenCrafters. This appears to be a way to give the impression that complaints are addressed, while in reality, no meaningful support was provided. A shame. Email received Dec 1: Dear Firas Akkad, Thank you for contacting us and we apologize to hear about your experience. Please be advised that your inquiry has been sent to your LensCrafters store location. Please expect to receive a response from our store team within 5 business days. Your reference number is 251201018383. Kind Regards, LensCrafters Care Team Original Review (unchanged): Be careful—this location is not what it used to be. Long-time customer, but service has clearly declined since the current manager took over. On my last visit, I was advised to recheck my eyes instead of having my glasses adjusted. I followed that advice, had my exam at Weill Cornell, returned—yet was still treated coldly and told to wait 18 working days with no proper explanation. No-go for me. Next time, Cohen’s Optical across the street.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
