  I was forced by the insurance company to change my Pharmacy. So I went to Stop amd Shop East Islip Pharmacy. Biggest mistake ever they never pick up the phone. Doesn't matter what time you call. I have a husband that doesn't drive he tries to call before he goes to pick up and they never answer the phone. They say the medicine is going to be ready on a certain date when we get there it isn't. I had an antibiotics sent over there at like 10am it still was not ready at 5pm. They have 4 to 5 people working there so I don't understand why they don't pick the phone up. They don't deserve any stars. Terrible customer service.

  I wrote a review a few months back but not sure it went anywhere. James Fitzgerald is a fantastic, caring and compassionate pharmacist. My Mom, 80 years old, has difficulty getting out of house often. I was speaking with James regarding shingles and flu vaccines for her and he offered to stop by her house and administer them in the comfort of her own home. He followed through as offered and it was perfect. The staff including Brianna, Edith and Stephanie are top notch as well. Could not be happier with a Pharmacy like I am with this one.
