I just finished my pt sessions with Bailey Huber at the Depew location for my reverse shoulder replacement. Bailey was very helpful in teaching me exercises and stretching my shoulder. She was always on time and gave me personal, one-on-one attention. I would recommend MVPT and Bailey to my friends and family based on my positive experience and results.

Originally was in therapy in 2014 at this location Transit rd Depew NY. . Everyone was always cheerful, polite, courteous, and professional. They helped my issue with my shoulder 100%. I am back this year many years later for a knee injury of which I have obtained the same great care, hospitality, professionalism. Have seen all the above listed therapist. Keep up the great work.

I had a great experience at MVPT Physical Therapy. Bailey helped me so much with my wrist pain, and it truly feels much better now. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything clearly. Physical therapy is really working, and I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made. Highly recommend MVPT and Bailey!
Frequently Asked Questions About MVPT Physical Therapy
How long does it take to get an appointment?
Typical office policy is to offer an appointment within 24-48 hours (excepting weekends)
How often am I supposed to attend therapy?
Research has shown that a higher frequency (typically 3 times per week) results in a faster recovery. While some patients with higher co-pays express concern at attending more frequently, in the long run, the faster recovery often means less overall expense. Our office will work with you to make sure expense isn't a barrier to good health.
Will I get treated on the first day?
Unlike some therapy offices that may only offer an evaluation on the first day, at MVPT Depew, we want to get your recovery started as soon as possible. Therefore, we typically include a treatment following your evaluation on that first visit.
I had physical therapy somewhere else in the past, and it was just exercise. Is this going to be the same?
While exercise is a key component to a successful recovery, at MVPT Depew, we recognize the need for additional treatments including whirlpool, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, traction and deep tissue laser as a means to reduce pain and improve tissue healing. Therefore, these different treatments may be used to help prepare your tissue before beginning your exercises. "No Pain, No Gain" is not something that you will hear when attending a therapy session at MVPT Depew!
I depend on others for a ride to and from therapy. Can I schedule several appointments at once?
YES.. In fact, we encourage patients to schedule 3-4 weeks worth of appointments. This not only helps the patient to get the times they want/need, but also helps the therapist to keep a balanced scheduled throughout the day to ensure sufficient time with each patient. We make every effort to keep patients with the same therapist to help ensure continuity of care. No patient wants to go to a clinic where they see a different person every time, or they have a therapist who is trying to see 2-3 other patients at the same time.
If I have to change an appointment, will I be charged?
In general, we only charge for treatment when you have actually received it. While we do reserve the right to charge a "No-Show" fee when patients fail to notify us that they are not planning to attend, this is rarely applied and reserved for patients that repeatedly fail to attend their session and are scheduling time that could be reserved for other patients.
Do you offer text messaging to remind me of my appointments.
YES.. as long as you provide your cell phone number, you will receive a text message prior to every visit. In fact, the message will actually ask you to confirm your attendance so that the therapist can plan your visit in advance.
