I felt like I was waiting in airport lines, then sat with many people and waited for our "flights". I was just a number to be passed along. "Care" was lacking. A medical billing machine. Great for the providers; not for the patients.

Absolutely awful. Nobody answers the phone or calls back. On the rare occasions they do, Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional when being asked questions about understanding your own care. They are always overbooked and understaffed, and the techs are RUDE. I have had several appointments and I dread each one more and more. They brush you under the rug so you really have to advocate for yourself to actually get any care or answers. But they are so rude and unprofessional when you need to ask any sort if clarifying questions. Anytime the pharmacy/insurance tries to contact them for prior authorizations they never respond to those entities either so it’s holds up everything, and you’re left with a prescription you can’t pickup. My doctor told me I am out of options so I asked to make an appointment with another dr for another opinion (who has a different, more relevant specialty) and I have to be approved to transfer rather than having patient autonomy to choose your own provider. But unfortunately almost every urologist seems to work here or be partnered in some way. So now it is up to the office that I cant ever get ahold of to call me back to ALLOW me to even talk to someone about scheduling with a different doctor. When I have been stuck at home with extreme symptoms unable to function this whole time. The ER and urgent care unfortunately only give you a urology referral back to this place. I would recommend traveling out of town for care if this is all this area has. They also always schedule me with the nurse practitioner under the doctor they assigned me to (which was also not covered by the same insurance and I tell them every time) when the MD above her that I was supposed to be seeing was covered. And then never responded to the pharmacy so couldn’t use my insurance for medication for over 6 months. I always try to give health care workers a lot of grace and patience and I feel like I have but after this many attempts they are still so consistently rude and degrading to patients.

Dr Gonka prescribed a 2 day, 4 pill antibiotic. Three days after surgery, after business hours, my pharmacy tells me I have the same script sent over again by Dr Gonka. I called the office asking if it was a mistake or truly intended, since antibiotics are usually taken consistently without a break. On call doctor could not tell me why and said that Dr Gonka will call me first thing next morning. Finally got a call next evening around 6:30 pm, nurse telling me I don’t need to take that script. Would not provide explain and told me that I was the one that refused to take the Rx. Then hung up on me. Do not go to WNY urology. Find another service provider.

I have been seeing the doctor for over two years, and the problem I have been seeing them for, and the issue is still not any better, the doctor is in and out, and botox injection were awful Never again, and they keep trying to have them done again. I am off to find a new doctor that can help with my health issue.

I'd give it a "NO STARS" if possible.
The "remote" answering service women and some of the nurses are rude and curt.. ive been waiting for a return call for over a week, with 2 separate attempts. Triage never called me and Dr. Aliota' s staff never called me back, as ive been enduring discomfort continually.. These women employees go unchecked for attitudes and courtesy, and professionalism. Seems like Dr. Aliota is getting my attempts to reach him or hes ignoring me all together, not sure.. looking for alternatives now. Steady decline going back to Dr.Gilbert who didn't care much either...
