- MLMaureen LaRoccaMar 19, 20261.0I am giving one star for one reason. My family member was displaying obvious signs of a stroke. Slumped over to one side, couldn't move her arm, etc. all the signs of a stroke. Despite family members' requests, the staff did not call 911 for over 2 hours! Everyone knows you have to respond to stroke symptoms FAST!!! We alerted the nursing staff to her condition. Yet, they said they had to get the nursing supervisor then a doctor to approve the 911 call. Insanity. I think they hesitate to call 911 because they have to pay for an ambulette service to take residents to the hospital. Complete and total neglect! There were 2 staff members that deserve praise. Her CNA, Serge was great, very responsive and helpful. One of her nurses, Jasmine was very kind to her during her stay there.

My mother has been a resident here, and the staff has truly exceeded our expectations. They are wonderful—caring, sensitive, and incredibly supportive every step of the way. What stands out most is how genuinely interested they seem in what’s best for the patient. They’re always open to suggestions and happy to collaborate with family members, which makes such a huge difference when you’re navigating care for a loved one. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. The rooms are consistently clean, and the dining room is a highlight with its beautiful vaulted ceiling that gives the space a bright, welcoming feel. There’s also a cute complementary bakery that adds warmth and comfort to the vibe of the place . It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a comfortable and dignified environment rather than a sterile one. If you’re looking for a place where compassion meets professionalism, Oasis is an excellent choice. We’re so grateful for the care my mother receives here—thank you to the entire team!
