  I must say I am no youngster I’m 66 years old and my entire life. I have been petrified a blood test yet. I needed a blood test so I went to Northwell health in Cedarhurst and for the first time in my life. I absolutely felt no pain and did not even realize he had started taking the blood. Gerard was above and beyond amazing. I highly recommend this place. They are just. I don’t even know above five stars and for the first time in my entire life I want to stress I never had a little test that caused me not a drop of anxiety or pain and he was able to find my vein when no one can never do that so kudos to Gerardo. I will definitely be a patient at that place only.

  The phlebotomists are great at their job, I don’t have the best veins to draw blood from—folks usually have a hard time and will poke me multiple times before finding a good vein to draw blood from, that used to be frequent experience for me until finding this Lab. Jen (I believe that’s her name, lovely young lady, memorable eyes) used to be my favorite but she no longer works there. I saw Jasmyne for the first time today, I was a bit nervous as not everyone gets blood on the first poke, she had 0 problems drawing blood. The staff is always friendly and professional. The wait isn’t too bad, the most I’ve waited is 25/30 minutes but they were busy that day. It’s best to make an appointment online instead of walking in. I’ve been giving the option to go to Quest Diagnostics and I will always choose Northwell Labs in Cedahurst.

  I took my 8 year old here for bloodwork and he was very nervous. The staff was impatient and did not do anything to explain the process or help calm him down. When I was able to finally convince him to give his arm, they did do a good job with the actual blood draw.

  I walked in 20 minutes before closing time and they refused to see me “because they aren’t seeing walk-ins anymore”. There was one person already having blood taken and no one else waiting. There was no reason to have been turned away. Not impressed with the service today. In the past, I was very happy with their service, especially with my children. They are very skilled in handling children.

  Walked in at 12:40 and got turned away for a walk in. Closes at 1. Says nowhere a time that they stop taking walk ins. Lady just didn’t want to do another blood test…
