Walked in for a stat blood test, checked in via kiosk and waited in the lobby alone for over 20 minutes, while status board said 0 were being served. After waiting a Russian lady rudely came out said they were not accepting walk ins due to being short staffed and it would take a while. Perhaps I would have been attended to if you didn’t spend 20 minutes with your coworkers discussing taxes. Find a new job.

Waiting to have a drug screen done for a potential employer. I have an appointment, but they continue to take others in front of me. As I sit here, I am hearing this horrible woman speaking on the phone and to her other coworkers. I have been in healthcare over 20 years, and I would lose my job if I spoke to people this way. What are you doing in this field if you don't know how to interact with patients/people. I am not a walk in mind you. I have a 12:30 appointment, so I should have just been a walk in. Worried about lunch, etc. Doesn't it make sense to get the patients seen instead of making them wait or is that just me and how I run a practice? If you're not getting paid enough, which you most likely aren't, that is not the publics problem. You do not need to make an appointment because if you have one, it will not be honored. Even when the Waiting room is empty, they wait until the appointment time.
