Wait time is horrendous & staff is not well trained when it comes to developmentally disabled kids, especially the ultrasound tech. They definitely overbook appointments which shows from the wait time & how full the waiting room is at each appointment.

We were welcomed right away by the receptionist and shortly after saw the ultrasound technician. She was patient with my daughter and helped her overcome the fear she was having. We then saw Allyson Fried for our daughters urology issue. She was able to figure out the problem on our very first visit. She was patient and gentle with my child and thorough with her care. Highly recommend !

Honestly, Dr. Young was fine. Gave us his undivided attention and adequate time at the first appointment. But we scheduled a follow up appointment as advised almost a YEAR out. Went in for said appointment, and after waiting 40 minutes, told the receptionist (who was eating her snacks) that we could not wait any longer. And she asked us if we needed to reschedule. No apology. No, "let me see how much longer." So we advised we would not be rescheduling. We have been going to children's for multiple reasons for 12 months. Some departments have the best reception staff and team of doctors. I'm sad to say this department is not of them. Very unorganized.
I will say, my son needed an ultrasound prior to the appointment so we could review changes with the doctor. We have been getting ultrasounds and x-rays also for a year.
The receptionist I spoke with in the urology department after his ultrasound was complete was phenomenal.
