It was my first time at SoulCycle and my first time in that neighborhood, so I wasn’t familiar with the parking situation. There were meters outside, and people in the parking lot told me they didn’t think I needed to pay. I went inside at 5:57 and checked in before class. I had already given the staff member my shoe size and my shoes were waiting for me on the desk. She told me I did need to pay the meter, so I quickly ran back outside to pay and came back in exactly at 6:00.
Despite the fact that I had already been inside before 6 PM and she knew I had stepped out just to pay the meter, she refused to let me take the class. After our conversation ended and I was walking out, it was only 6:01, which clearly shows I was inside at 6:00. They should check the cameras if there is any question about the timing.
I understand that places have rules, but having a friendly and welcoming environment for a new customer who has never taken a SoulCycle class and is new to the area should be taken into consideration. I even told her that I had driven over half an hour from the Bronx to attend the class, and she did not care.
This is not how a new customer should be treated. I’m extremely disappointed by the way this was handled. I will not be returning to SoulCycle and would not recommend it to others.

I come to this location often because I honestly love the teachers and the classes, but I had about enough with the staff at the front desk, I wish I knew her name cause it is only her that is rude and the rest of the staff is awesome. She has no willingness to help, be kind and most specifically seems like she has an issue with people coming jn through ClassPass. One example: me and my friend came in and wanted to sit together - she told us she could not help us until 4 minutes before the class so we had to wait to then finally be seated next to each other to a class that had at least 20 spots open. Today I was late because of an appointment which I understand they not allowing you to enter to the class cause is distracting to everyone else - but she wasn’t even helpful to me to waive the “No show fee” of 30$ when I did try showing up - Soulcycle is supposed to represent the good energy the good environment and she cannot project any further than that - EXTREMELY Dissapointed

Instructor Mike Press was great. He was intense, motivating, and pushed us to feel the rhythm. I loved his music selection
