My primary doctor either moved or was fired, and not a single person here decided to let me know about that. So when I called to refill my prescription, I suddenly need an appointment with a new primary to approve a medication I've been on for a full year. I had five pills left and the earliest appointment they had was seven days out.
I just called today to refill said prescription (because it's a controlled substance) and it took me 45 minutes to get somebody to pick up. They wiped the lines twice.
I also need to go in every six months for a "follow up" on my medication. Another B.S. process given that as previously mentioned, I've been on this medication for over a year. My primary wasn't available (This was before she left or was fired.) So they assigned me a random doctor. He asked me a total of five questions over the course of three minutes (not even joking, I heard him say "we have a heavy load today, let's get through these quick) and I got a bill for $236.
So they don't make you aware if your doctor leaves, they can't pick up the phone when you need a prescription refill, they clearly don't care about their patients needs (let's get through this quick) and they can't/wont properly bill you for services.
I'm pretty sure that is everything wrong with the American healthcare system wrapped into one crappy organization. Avoid at all costs.

Office staff is very rude. Twice I’ve had to go without hormone medications which cause me to have seizures (I have epilepsy). When I again became upset I was told “maybe you should come to your appointments” (they’re constantly cancelled), called a liar, then laughed at when I started crying. Seizures are very scary. Then the response we get is “no one laughed at her.” Pull the call and listen then. Not that it would make a difference. The only person who has ever treated me with respect is John. So thank you, John. I highly recommend UHS please don’t waste your time here. All their providers just up and quit and I can 100% see why.

This is in direct relation to KAITLYN RUSHING PA. As far as I'm concerned I wouldn't take a frog to be seen in her care. Despite several months of calling and leaving messages to get a return call to discuss my daughters health she has never once responded to any of my calls however wrote a very unprofessional opinionated letter stating how my daughter shouldn't even be around her father but has never once even spoke to me on the phone. I would be embarrassed beyond belief if I was the Guthrie medical facility and had KAITLYN RUSHING PA working for me
Whatever you do please consider any other provider in the world other than this PA or this facility as far as that goes.

I am writing this review to share my experience with this medical facility, particularly regarding the care and communication surrounding my daughter’s needs. Unfortunately, my interactions have been consistently disappointing.
Throughout the process, the staff has been unprofessional, with frequent lapses in basic communication. Messages and inquiries always go unanswered, and important information is never provided proactively. This lack of responsiveness has made it extremely difficult to stay informed and involved in my daughter’s care.
Additionally, the facility has shown an unwillingness to work collaboratively with me as a parent. Instead of addressing concerns or offering solutions, I have repeatedly encountered dismissive attitudes and minimal effort to engage in productive conversation. When dealing with a child’s health and well-being, communication and cooperation should be priorities—not obstacles.
I had hoped for a supportive and reliable medical partner, but this has not been my experience. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that the clinic will take steps to improve communication, professionalism, and their approach to working with families.

As always I am very satisfied with the excellent care at Githrie Lourdes Chenango Bridge office. I was able to get an appointment the day I needed it and was actually seen before my scheduled appointment time. CAILIN little is a caring, compassionate and thorough provider.
