- LNLaurie NagleOct 11, 20242.0I started going to Bridget Akel for my Diabeties and my Thyroid. I have had my Thyroid surgically removed. She follows me up every 3 months to adjust my Thyroid meds and checks my sugar. After Guthrie took over, the office keeps canceling my appts. My last virtual appt. Was in May 2024. I.scheduled for Nov.11th. Now I get a call and they told me no Virtual appts u til Jan. Do I get another Dr? What do I do. I can only come on.MON., THURS. OR FRI afternoon. I am 78 years old and I feel as though my Dr. Does not care about me. Please advise. I told the receptionist and she acted as though I was a bother and she could care less about my situation. I asked her to have my Dr. Call me back. Not sure I will hear from anyone. I am left untreated. This is dangerous and unacceptable for anyone going to Guthrie.
