  I have been a longtime patient within the Guthrie Lourdes system at another location and have always been treated professionally—so my experience at this Pennsylvania Avenue office was an absolute shock. My provider referred me for a straightforward cortisone shot. I was sent a scheduling link, followed every step correctly, and secured an appointment for January. When I called to check for cancellations, I was met with one of the rudest staff members I’ve ever encountered in health care. Instead of helping, she canceled my appointment on the spot and pushed me even further out—then had the nerve to blame me and claim I had “set it up incorrectly.” I did exactly what their system told me to do. This office is a disgrace to the Guthrie Lourdes name. The customer service is hostile, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. No patient should be punished for simply asking a question. If this is the way they treat people before they even walk through the door, I dread to think how they behave during actual medical care. Avoid this location if you value being treated like a human being.

  Wait was long but it's the ER. Doctors, Nurses, and assistants were all courteous and helpful.

  I always receive excellent caring attention, advice and diagnosis. I find that everyone from the reception staff to nurses, x-ray techs, PA's and doctors. I'm super happy to be part of the Guthrie care teams.
