  I showed up at the facility at 12:45 on Saturday. The sign on the door said Open Until 1:00. Walked up top the counter, the attendant took my details, then told me they were closed. AT 12:45!

  I am fairly new to the area and utilize the lab services every 6 months. Upon my arrival in February, I was graciously greeted by an individual in the lobby who entered my information for me to arrange my lab visit as a walk-in. Her assistance with the computer sign-in made my experience seamless. I was extremely impressed with her professionalism as well as her customer relations skills which made my visit a very positive and pleasant experience. I did express to Debbie that I would be leaving a review as I greatly appreciated all she did for me.

  I wasn't impressed. I felt like my care was being rushed, my concerns were not heard despite being voiced, and I did not receive any physical care for my wound infection. I was told I would be prescribed an antibiotic after "additional research" was completed since I was allergic to the medicine they would typically use. I left the clinic knowing I was being prescribed a medication but no knowledge of what that would be. My wound was not cleaned or examined at all by the triage nurse or the Nurse Practitioner I saw. Overall I left feeling very confused, and cheated. I used my last $15, which was all the money I had left to my name, to make my co-pay, and I wasn't even properly cared for. I ended up not getting a prescription either. The pharmacy had no record of one at the time I went to check (hours later). I couldn't afford it anyway because again, I spent my last bit of cash on my co-pay. Lately, I've had issues with Guthrie when previously I was shown extraordinary care. I am starting to notice a trend of Guthrie's standard of care declining little by little. Not with every branch or department but sporadically throughout the franchise. It's just not as great as its used to be. Still 10x better than Arnot Hospital or Cayuga Medical Center though!

  My husband took our daughter to the walk in clinic on 12/02 for symptoms of an uti b/c her regular dr was out of office. They did a urine analysis and said it came back negative and she was probably experiencing discomfort just from having a cold and it should get better on its own??? They sent her home without antibiotics and said they would reach out to us if the other tests showed anything. The next day my daughter was peeing blood and extremely uncomfortable so her regular dr was able to squeeze her in for an appt and what do you know she had a uti!!! I just received a message from the walk in clinic TODAY 12/05 saying all of the tests were negative. Im extremely upset and dissatisfied and will not return!!
