  This review is regarding a deeply concerning experience my 2-year-old son had at this Northwell lab. The phlebotomist did not take appropriate time to properly locate a vein before inserting the needle. While the needle was already in his arm, she continued searching for the vein, which caused unnecessary pain and distress. Additionally, her demeanor was impatient and unkind toward a very young child. Pediatric patients require extra care, gentleness, and professionalism. This experience raises serious concerns about staff training and patient care standards. I strongly urge management to review this incident.
