- VVVictoryaaaJan 20, 20261.0this is not the place- 0/⭐️ NYU Langone Astoria Medical Associates more like get it together... unprofessional behavior in a medical office. The nurses and other staff are not wearing masks in the facility. The staff called my name and it was for another patient...nurses rushed me into a dirty room They lack appropriate bedside manner. Both lacking training on patient centered care, it is sad to say. Possible level of prejudice and racism or ageism happening in this office. The facility packed with crying and speakerphone iPad kids, older folks and patients who seem confused by the check-in process. NYU Langone as a company supports Amazon. They choose profit over people in this "brand" of health care. I canceled the appointment due to the lack of patient centered care. Let's challenge NYU Langone Astoria to be better. *The purpose of this review is to provide insight of current conditions in NYC Health and Patient Centered Care. - MCMichael ConstantiniDec 10, 20251.0MINUS 10 STARS ...In my seventy three years of life...this is the the worst medical facility I have ever encountered....I had a confirmed appointment with a new primary "doctor"thru a phone call and text.When I got there was asked for a reference a reference number from my insurance company ('"*':!???)....if not I can't be seen...my insurance was already vetted a few weeks ago...I don't see the point....I WAS REFUSED SERVICE UNLESS I PAID IN CASH....This is not a reliable medical provider but a financial purveyor...The service at the front desk was very unprofessional yet very adversarial.... I left.....in addition U want to make sure I am cancelling all my future visits with NYU Langone doctors... VERY RUDE,VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED. HASTA NO LA VISTA
