This was my first time going to a lens crafters. I saw my insurance provider listed (Davis Vision), and completed the forms ahead of time. No one told me that my insurance wasn’t accepted until after the eye exam when I was looking at glasses and the tech said that they don’t accept my insurance plan so they could offer a discount. Had I known that my insurance wasn’t accepted, I would not have gotten my eye exam done at lens crafters. This lack of transparency is predatory and unacceptable.
