Anthony was absolutely amazing! I asked that all the machines be wiped down due to health reasons and not only did he take the time to do that he also wore a mask. While we were waiting for the doctor, we had a great conversation. Anthony stated today was his last day at that location, he was going to the other location where they needed associates. I let Anthony know that I was glad my appointment was today then so I had the chance to meet him. The other location will definitely benefit from Anthony and should I need to go back for any reason with my glasses, I will be going to Anthony's new location. Lens Crafters customers should be thankful if they have the chance to meet Anthony. I know I am!

I wish I had gotten the name of the staff member who assisted me today. I came to browse and ended up setting up an appointment because I saw frames I sort of liked (loved the color, shape wasn't right) and then the team member helped me find something I loved, as well as assisting regarding pricing and coverage. Glasses are not usually an impulse purchase for me.

Shaista was an incredible optician! She was so patient and helpful while assisting both me and my boyfriend with our new glasses. After being told by both Warby Parker and Visionworks that our insurance wasn't accepted, Shaista went above and beyond. She was transparent throughout the process and ensured we maximized our full insurance benefits. We highly recommend visiting her at the Colonie Center location!

I had a horrible experience at this location. They made me wait over 40 minutes and then told me I couldn’t see the doctor unless I filled out a form on a filthy iPad with no stylus. When I asked why I hadn’t received the form in advance or why I needed to give them my glasses to check my prescription (since it was the same as the one they provided me with two years ago), the female technician with short black/purple hair gave me attitude.
On top of that, no one was sanitizing their hands between customers during cold and flu season. After I asked for the tech’s name to file a complaint, the store manager refused to provide it. My appointment was eventually canceled because the tech couldn't answer basic questions. Avoid this location if you want a positive, professional experience.

If I can give zero, I will definitely give this staff !!!!
I already got a glass from here and came back to buy for my wife what make an appointment today for eye exam and buy an another new pair of glasses.
I tried to informed will late before I come, she kept saying no. So I will try to come asap on time and 14 mins late so that she can’t make today until 5Pm which is given me with attitude.
I do understand the situation if you are coming late and you can’t get it. at least we all have grace period but she didn’t say anything. That’s okay “ I am still understanding for her “she is having a bad day may be”.
I was more disappointed because of she is not willing to help and making another appointment to offer what you can cheer up customer to come back.
There is nothing, that’s it !!!!
( you guys should see her face with attitude)
I still have issue with the one I have glass. I asked her again that She told me to talk with other staff who can help you for the one I had glass is blurred and need to fix with the prescription check.
The lady from the counter helped me and she will check and get it back to me after a few days.
I left store after all the things was happened and I forgot to ask my prescription copy. I came back again and ask this lady again “ she still giving me attitude” .
May be because of my skin color. When she helping to other people, she is willing to help and smile with them. I have no idea, she might be the only one know the situation how to make the things to uncomfortable me.
I got my prescription copy today and will buy from other store. Very much disappointed. I don’t think I will come back again to shop with them. Even though I need to fix my eyeglass.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
