As someone who is new to needing glasses, going for my eye appointment is a little nerve wracking to begin with. When I walked into my appointment the staff weren’t very welcoming, besides the man at the check in desk. When I was brought back for my pre-testing, the woman was on her phone for the entirety of my testing. I could clearly see her in my peripheral as I was doing what I had to do on the machines and it was honestly extremely distracting. Then I waited for quite some time in the lobby for the doctor to come and get me. I could tell she was very knowledgeable but her bedside manner was terrible. She told me (as a 27 year old) that I had the vision of someone in their 60’s and would frequently talk over me when responding to her questions. With that being said I do not plan on returning to Lens Crafters at Colonie center for my future eye exams.
