I had been to 15 dentist prior to going to gentle dental. Either the costs were to high, staff was rude or there was no payment plan options. My treatment plan in full was 15,000.00. Gentle dental worked with my insurance and was able to get that cost down to 3600. And even broke it up into smaller amounts to ensure I received my treatment. The staff was kind and thorough. The Doctor listened and was patient with my concerns and took a personal interest in my well being. Truly a wonderful experience. Thank you!

The Dentist is very nice and thorough when you can get her to spend time with you. Unfortunately, the day I was there, they way over booked her! This caused her to have to rush and not complete what she said she was going to do on my tooth. Instead, she had the Dental Assistant do a lot of the work. They truly need more Dentists to allow good patient care..

Our family has been patients at Gentle Dental in Sparks for nearly 10 years, and both of my kids have had braces and regular cleanings here. Unfortunately, our 4:00 PM appointment today was an extremely disappointing experience.
When we arrived, we were told we had been removed from the schedule because we didn’t confirm the appointment. I explained that I did confirm through the text system, just like we always have. Claudia at the front desk was very kind and explained they’ve been having issues with the confirmation system and said they could still see my daughter.
A couple technicians came out and said they would get her in shortly, but then another technician came out and said my daughter had been removed from the schedule because we didn’t confirm. When I explained what the front desk had told us about the system issue, she said it didn’t matter because they were no longer taking 4 PM appointments. When I said maybe we should just leave, she said yes, we should.
The manager who we have known for a very long time was standing there during this entire interaction and didn’t say a word.
After nearly 10 years as patients, being told to leave over what appears to be a system error was shocking. There are plenty of dentists in the area who are actually “gentle” and treat families with kindness and respect. We will be taking our family to one of them instead.
I hope the office takes a closer look at how situations like this are handled in the future so other long-time patients aren’t treated the same way.
