  I had seen Dr. Goodhead for many years and would not have changed OB/GYNs, ever. And then I had an ectopic pregnancy (unbeknownst to us at the time.) After specific bloodwork, Dr. Goodhead came to me in the hallway, with strangers surrounding, and announced "the baby is dead, you need to go to the hospital," then she walked away - cold as ice. I was in a state of shock and confusion, collapsed in that hallway crying. The only person who helped me up and comforted me was a stranger, another patient. Ironically, seeing the calendar today brought it all back. I continued seeing Dr. Goodhead, but things had changed: Dr. Goodhead was not the compassionate doctor I had previously known; she was distant and indifferent. The offices and waiting room were dirty and dingy. The staff not as friendly or cordial, which was generalized and directed toward all. On my last appointment there (three years following my surgery) the lobby was only filled with very young, pregnant women. For an annual GYN appointment, I was rushed in and out: No small talk, no pleasantries, no supportive information, and a basic disinterest. As I was then, and still, in the medical field, I'd expected at least minimal camaraderie. I had been informed by colleagues that surgery as opposed to natural childbirth was the focus of that practice's future. My birthing days had come to an abrupt end. I was terribly disappointed in several ways. I had to give one star or would not have been allowed to post.

  Lying in bed years later, I cannot forget how cruel she was to me. Her harsh words “shut up” and making me feel ashamed of being pregnant in her office still haunt me. I hope she finds God and is able to make amends with those she’s hurt.

  I have been seeing Dr Goodhead for about 15 years. Has delivered all 3 of my babies. She is awesome as well as her staff! Always professional and listening to my concerns.

  I will not be returning to see Dr.Goodhead. She does not have any bed side table manners at all. The first thing I went to see her was for a regular yearly check up. She did not give me any warning as to what she was going to do during the check up. At most OBGYN appts they tried to keep you as covered up as they can, I felt like Dr.Goodhead's office is not as caught up with the current practices at other offices. She completely exposed my whole body for a breast exam. She did not give me any warning as to when the skeptical was going to go in and same thing for when she did the finger exam. I also had a similar experience when I went to get my birth control replaced. She didn't give me any warning telling me I was about to be poked with a needle. I feel like some woman would be okay with a experience like this, as for me it made me feel very uncomfortable. I will be looking for a new doctor going forward. The doctor also seem quite annoyed during the birth control replacement procedure, I let her know I could feel her cutting into the skin and she didn't seem bothered to do anything about it. She didn't say a word to me after the procedure she just walked straight out the room.

  Love her she took really good care of me both times. She delivered my son and even when I had my daughter early she still came in and helped out. Always checks up on her patients even while in the hospital ❤
