Dr Paul was amazing. He was able to explain well what was going on with my eye problem and provided education especially for the eye care needed.
Highly recommended.

The eye exam was good, but when I arrived I went inside Target and went to the place that had a sign stating the store was called Optical, which is where I was getting my exam. The person told me the office entrance was outside, I asked where and she rudely said, outside. When my exam was over, and I received my prescription, no one in the office directed me to the eye glass store to try on glasses. Otherwise, it was good.

Excellent service. The provider was well versed and quite knowledgeable. Had solid referrals to other providers who offer specialized services that I needed. I would definitely recommend him. Plan to make him my permanent optometrist.

Dr. Chen is great! Cigna listed Dr. Chen under "Target Opticals", which is fine, but as an online provider. To me, it seemed they were only advertising the lens and frames, not the service. Dr. Chen was our doctor before and we left when our insurance changed. We are glad to be back with him. The doc is knowledgeable and friendly and so is his staff. There's very little waiting for your scheduled appointment, and no pressure to purchase our glasses there, which seems to be common practice now. Making an appointment was effortless. Like another reviewer, we too went inside Target. Lol.

Dr. Chen and the staff were very friendly. Was able to schedule a same day eye exam and Dr. Chen took his time addressing my concerns. With my new updated prescription, it’s literally night and day difference with my astigmatism correction in the new lenses. It feels like I’m seeing for the first time in years. Will be back for future exams.

What is involved in an eye exam?
An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
