    Brandy and Klara should be fired !! They purposely took over 2 hours to get my prescription ready and that's only because I came back and asked for their names before I left without them, at which point my prescription was ready in 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES IS ALL THEY NEEDED!! I had to drive back for the third time. For the last 45 minutes of my wait I watched Klara give every customer that came their medication while Brandy stood in front of a computer screen. Even if she was doing something work related, she could've prepared my medication first given the amount of time I had already waited, SOMETIMES PEOPLES LIVES DEPEND ON THEIR MEDICATION!! You should be ashamed of yourselves and you should be fired . You work in customer service, you watched me sit there that long without caring, this field is not for either of you. I will be speaking with your corporate because I read a comment that the manager is just as bad.

    Incompetent pharmacy. I will warn you. They are so incompetent in my opini I n that i would but trust them to do anything correctly. Move your scripts. Exampke: They dispensed an alternative test strips for diabetes but do not tell me. I said I had a different meter not knowing the strips are interchangable. I was to get an antibiotic, they ran into a problem and did not tell me. I was waiting for the antibiotic and I had to contact them. They keep trying to fill old scripts that I tell them to delete and they can't delete but want to keep refilling. The foreign pharmacist is not polite and is not usually available. It is much worse. The manager Mike is so intent on defending the pharmacy that he did not listen. I moved my scripts to another pharmacy and today I got a request for a refill after I moved everything.

    Today at Smith’s Pharmacy on Flamingo and Decatur, I went in to pick up my medications. Times are hard right now, and I didn’t have the money to purchase all three medications—I only had enough to get one. Instead of working with me, the staff refused to dispense even the one medication I could afford. That was extremely frustrating, because I need my medication. Anna then assumed I was raising my voice. When she claimed that, I showed her what raising my voice actually sounds like. I asked to speak with the pharmacist on duty—Carla—and her behavior was even worse. She was very rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was being racially profiled. I explained to her that I have never experienced this type of treatment at any other pharmacy. I also told her that based on this experience, I didn’t think I would be coming back to Smith’s Pharmacy. Her response to me was, “That’s fine.” What kind of customer service is that? When you work in healthcare and you’re dealing with patients—people who rely on medication to stay healthy—you don’t treat them like they don’t matter. You don’t belittle them. You don’t dismiss their concerns. I believe in treating people the way you would want your own family to be treated. One day, God forbid, she or someone she loves may need help, compassion, or medication during a hard time. No patient should be treated the way I was treated today.
