Dear Silver State Orthopedics Management, I am writing to share concerns about a recent phone interaction I had with your office while attempting to schedule an appointment for our patient. The representative I spoke with was rude, unhelpful, and displayed unprofessional behavior that falls short of acceptable standards. Such conduct does not reflect well on the quality of care one expects from your organization and may negatively impact both patient trust and your practice's reputation. I strongly recommend that this individual receive additional customer service and communication training. If the behavior cannot be improved through training, you may need to consider alternative personnel measures. Based on this experience, I am no longer inclined to recommend your office to colleagues or patients in need. I hope you address this matter promptly to ensure future interactions reflect the professionalism and care your practice prioritizes.

They don't answer the phone or have any type of phone or messaging system. Immediately asked my PCP for a different referral.

I Dont recommend Dr silverberg. He did 3 hip revisions on me in 4 months. He has no clue what he is doing. The 1st surgery was on Oct 10 2022 and 5 hours later it came apart while in my hospital bed. My hip felt weird and my wife notified the nurses. A portable x-ray machine was used on me and yes my hip came apart. So Oct 11 I went in for emergency surgery and now its my second left hip revision surgery . I spend about a week in the hospital had some issues with pain and bleeding in the catheter. Lots of blood. On my 1st follow up, i told dr silverberg that it still feels like my hip is still coming apart. He did x-rays and said everything looks fine. A week later staples were removed and again I told him something feels wrong. I think the hip is still coming apart. He told me its just pain from having 2 surgeries in just 2 days and its going to be very painful maybe up to even a year. So now still having problems with my left hip, i still believe its coming apart. My last follow up with silverberg didn't go very well. I told him it fells like its coming apart still. He was rude and said that I had no clue what was going on. He said its fine and i didn't know anything its not coming apart. I live 2 hours from his office so its hard to just go to his office to show him. I was in kingman in early December and I was in so much pain i couldn't deal with it so I went to the er. The er took x-ray and yes the x-rays showed my hip has came apart again. They reset the hip and told me to contact the dr who did the surgery. After around a dozen phone calls they finally called me back. I was told my authorization from the va has expired and they cant see me until a new one was created. So my hip is still coming apart sometimes it pops back in place by it self or I go to the er and they reset it. Believe me the pain is unbearable when it pops out or back in. The va got a me a new authorization and now its January. The va wanted me to see silverberg again since he knows my situation. Feb 2023 dr silverberg does a 3rd surgery on my left hip. Then he had me hit with a large amount radiation to the area to prevent scar tissue from forming immediately after surgery. My swelling from my hip area was so bad that I had to keep the staples in for a couple of weeks. After 3 follow ups with silverberg he said its fixed and their won't be any more problems, i keep telling him something still isn't right. I believe it still coming apart. He basically said nothing is wrong and he's the expert. So now its may, I believe my hip is coming apart and it is popping back in place. In june I had an appointment at the va hospital in vegas and I was in so much pain, I went to the er and x-ray again shows dislocated hip. They reset it. Sometimes it pops back by itself or 5 er visits to reset it. Call silverberg office for weeks and not one single call back, i also went to his office twice and both times the receptionist said he wasn't in today. They took my information and said he'll call me tomorrow. I gave up never called me back. So now I need another authorization to get seen and find out why my hip keeps coming apart. Va don't have a dr who does revision so I have to be seen by a dr outside the va system. Va finally found a dr who would look at my situation, several drs didn't want to see me due to the problem. The dr did x-rays and a exam. He recommended surgery again and he said he was going to make a new incision because its not a good thing using the same insion over and over. He asked about the radiation treatment, why was that done. I said it keeps the scar tissue from forming. He has never herd that before and shook his head and walked way. November 2023 my 4th revision left hip surgery. Dr said that there is nothing he could do except put a locking ring in my hip, the locking ring keeps the hip from coming apart. He said if this fails the next step will most likely loss of my left leg. He said there was so much damage due to the last 3 surgeries it couldn't be fixed plus they found an infection in the hip. Thanks silverberg.

Made an appointment and they rescheduled like an hour before but never gave me a time I’ve called 4 times since they left the voicemail and no one answers the phone so I’m not sure if I’m just supposed to show up or if I’m just not going to see the doctor when I did make my appointment the lady on the phone was snarky and rude.
