- KWKenneth WalkerNov 24, 20251.0The McDonalds Happy Meal of gyms. I thought the point of the Black Card was to allow me to use all of their locations across the US. It seemed like a good deal since I split my time between living in two cities. I put up with their annoying lunk alarm nonsense and lack of proper equipment like power racks and dumbells over 75lbs thinking it was a good deal, but NOPE! Today they informed me I only get 10 check ins a month away from my "home" club. You can only designate one club "home" despite having more than one home in the US that you spend time at. Every check in beyond 10 costs $5 which makes this gym hideously expensive for what it is. What a scam the Black Card is.
